Bhāvanā-Sāra-Saṅgrahaḥ, Prātaḥ 42

राधे! स्फुटं वद भवन्मुख-पङ्कजोत्थ-
नक्तंतनेहित-सुधा-द्युधुनी विधूय ।
तापं निमज्जयतु मां स्वमनु प्रभाते
कृत्यान्तरं मम कथं तदृते सुसिध्येत् ॥ ४२ ॥

rādhe! sphuṭaṁ vada bhavan-mukha-paṅkajottha-
naktaṁtanehita-sudhā-dyudhunī vidhūya |
tāpaṁ nimajjayatu māṁ svam anu prabhāte
kṛtyāntaraṁ mama kathaṁ tad-ṛte susidhyet || 42 ||

     Śyāmalā: “Rādhā, be straightforward and say what you really mean. Please drive away my pain by letting me bathe in the nectarous Gaṅgā of your nightly pastimes with Kṛṣṇa that flows from your lotus mouth. Otherwise, according to our custom,* how shall I perform my morning duties?” (Kṛṣṇa-Bhāvanāmṛtam 3.26)

*It is the custom that pious people bathe before beginning their morning duties.
