Description of Sri Shyama-Kunda, the Sakha’s Kunjas, etc.

prAyaH sa evaM-vidha-sannivezakaM dadarza tat-pArzvagam AtmanaH saraH |
kuJjaiH svakAntAgrahato’tisaMskRtair virAjitaM narma-sakhAli-nirmitaiH ||

“Then Krishna looked at his own splendid lake nearby, similar to Radha-Kunda, with bowers created and nicely prepared by his priya-narma-sakhas out of their affection for Radha.” (Govinda-LIlAmRtam 7.111)

priya-narma-vayasyA ye subalo madhumaGgalaH |
ujjvalArjuna-gandharvA vidagdha-bhRGga-kokilAH ||
dakSa-sannandanAdyAz ca teSAM sva-svAbhidhAnvitAH |
tair vibhajyArpitAH kuJjAs te rAdhA-lalitAdiSu ||

“Distinguished by the names of Krishna’s dearest friends, such as Subala, Madhumangala, Ujjvala, Arjuna, Gandharva, Vidagdha, Bhringa, Kokila, Daksha, Sannandana and so on, the kunjas had then been entrusted to Radha, Lalita and the others.” (Govinda-LIlAmRtam 7.112-113)
