“O friend, even this inanimate cloud is revealing his friendship with cloud-colored Kṛṣṇa. He is spreading himself out like an umbrella and gliding above the path to protect Kṛṣṇa from the heat of the autumn sun. (Ānanda-Vṛndāvana-Campūḥ 11.157)

“This cloud is Kṛṣṇa’s natural friend because as Kṛṣṇa plays the flute, the cloud removes his fatigue from grazing the cows with a cool mist resembling particles of camphor. (Ānanda-Vṛndāvana-Campūḥ 11.158)

“The beautiful Pulinda girls are also fortunate because when saffron from the breasts of Kṛṣṇa’s girlfriend falls from his feet onto the soft grass, they collect it and smear it upon their own faces and breasts, making them look very charming. (Ānanda-Vṛndāvana-Campūḥ 11.159)

“Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s mādhurya is the abode of everyone’s desires; it is natural that the lovely Pulinda girls are attracted to him. If such strong attachment appears in someone, this indeed becomes the only path. There is no difference between those who are qualified and those who are not. (Ānanda-Vṛndāvana-Campūḥ 11.160)

“O friend, Govardhana, the best of mountains, is the greatest of Bhagavān’s devotees and a friend to Mādhava’s pastimes. He constantly worships Kṛṣṇa with his bulbous roots, caves, water, fruits, mineral powders and other things that are suitable for playing games. (Ānanda-Vṛndāvana-Campūḥ 11.161)

“O friend, it seems that Kṛṣṇa eagerly fulfills the desires of those who take shelter of Govardhana. Those who want to attain happiness cannot become qualified and capable of success without assistance.” (Ānanda-Vṛndāvana-Campūḥ 11.162)

In this way, the nectarous sound of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s flute was made fragrant by Śrī Rādhā’s descriptions. After this nectar fell repeatedly into the beautiful goblets of the sakhīs’ ears, they shared and drank it together.
Tulasī Arrives; Rādhā Made Anxious by News of Kṛṣṇa
अथागता सा तुलसी सभां तां

Tulasī arrived there and placed in Lalitā’s lotus hands a garland of guñjā seeds and a pair of campaka buds sent by Kṛṣṇa. With great delight she then began to tell everyone the latest news. (Govinda-Līlāmṛtam 8.9)

Lalitā then joyfully placed the campaka buds on Rādhā’s ears as ornaments and the guñjā necklace on her chest. Each bore an abundant fragrance gained from Hari’s touch. (Govinda-Līlāmṛtam 8.10)

By contact with those objects, Śrī Rādhā, whose eyes are like blossomed lotuses, began to tremble and goosebumps arose on her slender body, as though she were touching Śrī Kṛṣṇa directly. Though she longed to go see him, she kept it inside. (Govinda-Līlāmṛtam 8.11)
